“Why Are We Not The Same?”
《Why Are We Not The Same?》的目標受眾是孩子、家長和老師。

I am excited to submit my story proposal, "Why Are We Not the Same?" for your consideration. This children's moral story about acceptance of different people is intended to help young readers develop empathy, compassion, and respect for others, regardless of their background or appearance.
Title and Genre:
"Why Are We Not the Same?" is a children's moral story about the acceptance of different people.
Synopsis:
In the whimsical Puzzle World, Adrian and Lily have been the best of friends for as long as anyone can remember. The two puzzles share everything together - their toys, snacks, and secrets. Their world seemed complete until one day, new puzzle pieces arrived that looked and acted differently from anyone they had ever met. At first, Adrian and Lily wanted nothing to do with the strange new puzzles. They didn't understand them and certainly didn't want to be their friends. However, when a mysterious treasure chest appears that can only be opened by puzzles working together as a team, Adrian and Lily have no choice but to team up with the new puzzles they once rejected. Children will learn from this story that acceptance of others who are different from us can lead to wonderful new discoveries and relationships. Though change can be uncomfortable, having an open and willing heart allows us to grow in beautiful and unexpected ways.

Author Bio:
As an accomplished early childhood educator with over five years of experience, I am passionate about crafting nurturing stories to inspire young minds. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the Education University of Hong Kong and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education at The University of Hong Kong. Beyond my work in the classroom, I have the vision to share impactful stories with more children across Asia. I have self-published a few children's stories on Amazon and am eager to cooperate with a professional publisher to bring my stories to a wider audience. I have a treasure trove of creative ideas and high-quality stories specially designed for kindergarten-aged children. My stories aim to help children develop a stronger understanding of the world, build stronger social-emotional skills, and boost creativity, language, maths, and communication abilities. Some stories also cater to children with special needs, helping them see their positive qualities and build self-confidence and self-esteem. My stories employ an inquiry-based learning and play-based approach, which aligns with most local and international kindergarten curricula in Asia. As an author, my goal is to publish nurturing stories with positive messages that resonate with both children and adults. My vision is to positively impact as many children as possible through the medium of storytelling. I would love the opportunity to develop a long-term partnership with a publisher to craft and share many more of these stories.
